To produce 3 sets of decals for a Silver City Airways subject was the original mission in 1999. Since its humble beginnings S&M Models has grown considerably to produce products that celebrate forgotten or ignored British aircraft, airlines and airliners. The first model, a Vickers Viscount proved a steep learning curve and an alternative production method with lower volumes was clearly needed. The method of resin casting was identified allowing for the production of more esoteric subjects that would never be considered by mainstream manufacturers.
